I use Best Buy as an example in almost all of my posts.

Before the launch, we all heard that Microsoft would be spending tons of money getting Best Buy employees (among others) up to speed on the new features of Windows 8.

The way it should have worked is, these trained employees would be evangelists for Windows 8 and sell those systems with energy and enthusiasm.

Anyone who has gone to a Best Buy, Target, Walmart or any other outlet and can show me this enthusiasm, let me know.

Instead, what you typically get is half hearted, ill informed, generic sales pitches without any passion. And that’s when you get the pitches at all. Most of the time, consumers are left to explore for themselves.

You know what happens when a brand new consumer is left alone to examine Metro….
