At this point, you are required to confirm the UAC prompt that appears on your screen. - Navigate to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager
- To turn off the suggested apps feature, double click the Dword SilentInstalledAppsEnabled and change its default value to 0.
- However, if there is no such Dword value, you need to create it manually.
- Right-click on the ContentDeliveryManager and click New and create a new Dword value named SilentInstalledAppsEnabled. Set its value to 0.
- Finally, close the Registry Editor and reboot your system to apply the changes.
Once you have completed these steps, your system will no longer install suggested apps in the future.
